Hello GBF Players! We are sorry for the late community update , we are neck deep in development now and have to be reminded to keep fans in the loop!

The Weird Kid Studios Team wants to thank you for helping us to reach 10,000 total downloads of GBF on Oculus App Lab , we're so grateful for the time you've invested in playing our game and helping us to be better developers . We sincerely hope that you derive some enjoyment from our next update!

What better way to thank you than telling you what you can expect to experience soon?
First and foremost we want to introduce you to Pegasus , the Galactic bar and lounge you will be spending much of your time in when GBF Update 2.0 releases!
Pegasus will serve as a hub environment and relaxing entertainment space to vibe and hang out in between challenge missions offering a place to view your stats, accomplishments, practice with weapons, and witness some of the random entertainment we have going on in our central stage. We have 4 entertainment acts which will have randomized dance routines for you to enjoy!
You'll share Pegasus with other patrons looking to relax and have a great time!
Meet Aria
Within Pegasus you will also find your Personal Assistant Aria who will give you a tour of the space when you first arrive.
In terms of the arena combat gameplay one of the the big additions is the addition of drink powerups which we'll call Powerdrinks you will consume to assist you in battle.

Work In Progress, we will not be serving you floor drinks!
Powerdrinks can help in a variety of ways from helping to resupply ammo and health to more advanced effects such as freezing enemies in place and spawning a Bubble Shield to briefly protect players from enemy attacks.

10 Seconds or less:
One of the big lessons we learned during the first GBF release was that our pacing was a bit off , so with Update 2.0 our goal is creating momentum, encouraging movement , and reducing windows of comfort and we hope we make GBF 2.0 an all-around more engaging , faster, and more challenging experience !
Date of 2.0 release
Our Weird Kid Team is striving to have 2.0 out very soon but we have some legal and business loose ends to handle in the background so the date may slip but our goal is to finish 2.0 by the end of September, we are eager to have you all play it and experience our hard work!
